RecommendedMy boy just spent a week at Fox Run, having both of his eyes removed. I am so thankful for Dr. Burks and his team for taking such great care of Artie while he was there. I was able to go and visit him multiple times and spend as much time as I wanted with him! Everyone there is very nice. Definitely recommend and will be using Dr. Burks for any future issues I have with my horses!

Heard nothing but horror stories from this vet. Anyone I know who has gone there has either lost their horse or had to rush them elsewhere. Seems 99% of the reviews here are ones that are paid for. Very few actually talk about this person as a vet but rather the “page”. Most are from people not from the area let alone this country. Obviously paid a 3rd party to recommend this place.

Love learning about all health aspects
Two years ago, my Arabian mare, Aniqa MBF, had a horrible leg accident. With the care of Dr. Burks and his staff, not only did she heal, but she is sound today. Another horse in our area, injured in much the same way but not as bad, ended up being put down. I give the folks at Fox Run full credit for Aniqa's recovery and thank them for it.
In the 80s, Dr Leonard from Fox Run saved my little Chincoteague mare. She needed surgery and during the surgery, they lost power due to a storm. Amazingly, everything still went well and the power came back. I am forever grateful. It was a long time ago, but Fox Run is dear to me to this day.
Dr. Burks is a wonderful, caring person and does anything and everything for your horse.
