I have been there many times and I think this is a very dangerous place for anyone who is admitted to this facility! I have seen very troubling things about this place first hand. You you are told you can can call there every day from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, well good luck with that! I have called for over 1 hour straight with no answer or answer just to be hung up on. Sometimes I have gotten a hold of my loved one to only to here like there was a mad house in the background and this has happened on numerous occasions. In my opinio... read more

I was also admitted into fox run when I was 13 and it really wasn't helpful they diagnosed me with ODD (oppositional Defiance disorder) cannabis abuse and promiscuity problems. My therapist name was Lisa and I felt like I connected and opened up to her although I font really think she knew how to help me really I was suppose to be there for 3 months and it turned into about 4. The way u get out of the program is by telling Ppl what they want to hear & completing ur (levels)... The levels are a joke! Most of the staff are nic... read more

I was a resident at Fox run from March till June 2015. We did not recieve adequate health care. I saw 30 restraints in 3 months as a resident. There were kids that have Been there for a year or more that think that they run the place. We had staff quit left and right. There was less male nurses than female nurses. 4 people went to juvenile hall while I was a resident the bathrooms were inadequate. People took other people's stuff. So many precautions like EP ans D SP I do not recommend anyone to even consider working there o... read more

This is a horrible place to subject a child too. Inadequate staffing leads to kids bullying and beatings towards younger, less able kids. Inadequate staffing leads to poor hygiene and general uncleanliness of the facility (mice and ants in kitchen and dining). Property destruction so severe maintenance people can't keep up. Therapy? Very little is done in this realm although there is little doubt someone is being billed for it. Tours of the place are the biggest joke. People troop through the routes that have been cleaned an... read more

just to clear something up, the staff member from the first mentioned comment was 6 months pregnant working alone with 13 behavioral teenage boys even though the Ohio ratio is 1:10 and WV is 1:3 and yes there were WV kids in that group. Also that staff member did get the boy choking out your grandson away from him as soon as she possibly could which probably saved his life while putting herself at risk even after your grandson had at an earlier time punched her directly in the stomach while fighting with another child. That ... read more

My grandson has been there for over 6 months and has made no progress , if anything, his behavior has gotten worse. There is a major communication problem amongst the staff. Twice now they have told my grandson that he was coming home for a visit when the family knew nothing about it. . .how is that helping ? Playing head games? A boy 4 years older than him had him in a choke hold, choking him out, because the staff on duty was pregnant and didn't want to risk hurting her unborn child. If I had my way he'd be out and the cen... read more

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed never to happened . Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I felt like my needs werenever met, but they didn't make any extra effort. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. The docyor will never speak to parents about medications. Staff can not control residents and there are no doctors or couselors during weekends. Basically and MA and a LPN during weekends. If you call they would not a medical staff to talk to parents. There is... read more
