11 months after my inguinal hernia surgery, I have 24/7 discomfort and pain in my testes. Despite a series of prescriptions and office visits, and also appointments with a specialized pelvic therapist, nothing has eliminated or even lessened this discomfort. As the hernia came on the heels of a prostatectomy, it has frankly been a very distressing state for 11 months with no solution. Dr. Fox has amazing bedside manner but above all he has a mastery in his field. Even though I did not have hernia he gave me a nerve block that has significantly helped me with my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Richard Fox.
I had a laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery with Dr. Fox. He did an excellent job with the surgery. I had a mild complication to my healing after the surgery (not something I did wrong) and his office helped me deal with it even out of state.
Very professional. Excellent communication skills. Procedure went very well and the recovery and return to normal was quick.
Every contact I've had with Dr Fox and his team has been exemplary and I would recommend him as the first choice to those I care about. Compassion, detailed explanations, generous time for your questions, everything that is important to me was provided. I feel that Dr Fox went above and beyond, challenging a denied request to my insurance for additional testing, which he felt necessary given the circumstances. Patient, attentive, through and knowledgeable.
Dr Fox is so personable & approachable he put me & my wife at ease & comfort going into a surgical repair of my femoral artery. He met us for the first time carrying the large amount of reports from various ct’s, mri’s, ultrasounds, eeg’s and echos that related to a stroke that I had. He had read & reviewed them & was completely familiar with my case (so unlike many doctors). The surgery went exactly as expected. His bedside manner and post surgical follow up should be an example to all docs
