How do the employees pay their bills??? – My husband and I went there (establishment was not busy) and we were greeted at the door and seated in a timely manner. He went off to use the restroom and I sat at the table. A waitress was helping another table, finished with them, then looked at me and walked off. enterprise services – great place to book a party!
Great Local Beer Joint – We've been to nearly every bar in North SA, and we keep winding up back at Fox and Hound. We've tried out Champps (closed?), Flying Saucer, Stone Werks, etc., but Fox and Hound is by far the most friendly. Good beer selection, competitive specials, great staff! We go to Flying Saucer once in a while for their beer selection, but you practically have to tackle a server to get her to notice you. Fox is our new home!
Great bar! – Great place to grab a drink and watch sports. Always a great crowd and great service.
Low Class Pub – My first time ,They asked for ID ,Iam over 35 y.o.a. I don't look under 21. The place smelled like a gym locker room. Will never go back.
Fun, friendly,however not very English. – Decent, friendly, clean. Big TVs for sports and curtained-off rooms showing big fights etc for additional charge. Staff were genuinely friendly. Good choice of beers, including Newcastle Brown Ale and Guinness. Don't be fooled by 'English Pub' moniker; this is an American sports bar through and through, which is no bad thing at all!
They ruined our party! – I scheduled a 30th SURPRISE birthday party months in advance at Fox and the Hound. One main reason why I chose them was because we could have a private room with pool tables and many big screen TV's. TWO DAYS before the event the store manager called to tell me there was a problem and that they had double booked their establishment. Would not recommend.... When it first opened it had a lot of promise!! But since then, it has spiraled down hill. Staff spends more time talking to each other than servicing their customers. It is a sports bar, but the music is SO LOAD. Can't even have a conversation with the people at your table, due to the music. The food is average at best, but I would rank it as poor due to it usually comes out cold and I don't order salads. Ownership and/or management does not take care of the place.
