Really lousy service since the new owners took over. Steven, who is always there for brunch, is an arrogant little waiter. I have been going there for several years, but will not stop in there again----ever! Orders were often wrong, as well as wrong bill amounts a lot of the time. Steer clear!

WORST Service EVER! – I would give it less then a 1 but I can't. This guy I am dating and I stopped in after drinking at CC's. Well I was informed by bartender Ricky informed me that 'per bar staff' I am no longer allowed in the bar, even though just a matter of a few hours ago He served us. Great Drinks, Great Food, Not Perfect – When I first moved to Portland, my soon-to-be Partner took me to the Fox every week because it was his favorite bar. Food is great, service is good depending on who's working – I'm a recent trans plant from the south and was in the bar with a few friends. Most of the staff are great. Once specific bar tender (Frank) has a bit of an attitude. He blatantly ignored several people in my party and stayed and visited with friends at the end of the bar while we stood and waited for drinks and politely asked for service and got ignored. Popular after work spot The newly remodeled Fox & Hound is a welcome restaurant in Old Town District. I went to the bar to grab a bite after work and didn't realize that I was the only female in there until after I placed my order. The food was good, there are daily specials and I would go back again during the lunch service when there are more ladies in the crowd.

Awesome steaks and stiff drinks for little $ – The food is excellent for the low price. I had a steak dinner and it was the best steak I have ever had anywhere! I like my staek cooked medium well and so it can sometimes be tough to chew. This steak was cooked medium well and it absolutely melted in my mouth! I cut it with my fork! YUM! As good as the food is, the drinks are out of this world! I like a good, stiff drink and the bartenders here don't disappoint. Fabulash !! – Very impressed with everything............inexpensive but FANTASTIC food and excellent portions. Great Staff....very friendly ! Excellent Service and Quick !! Great place to just come and sit. Whether alone, as a couple or as a group. Just off Max Line for convenience. Definitely one of our favourite places !!
