Shawn is a butcher – What a nightmare. This guy scrubs and pulls hair during treatments without respect to the pain and suffering of others. Not everyone as Afrro-American hair, yet he assumes he can treat Caucasian hair the same. I experienced extensive breakage and he pulled out entire sections of healthy hair. I usually go twice a year for conditioning treatments elsewhere. Stay away-he will ruin your hair-he has no knowledge of how to work conditioner through hair. Teamwork Defined – My hairdresser of 17 years moved to another state. Rather than follow him, I turned to Fox Hair and I wasn't disappointed. They were able to accurately match my 'old' color more! the only salon i'll go to! – I happened upon this salon five years ago when I moved to Chicago and have been a loyal customer ever since - even referring friends who have also been pleased. They do a fantastic job at both my cut and my color. I've always gone to Pam, but have had shampoos/blow drys from other members of her staff, and they've been great. Easy to get to via el or #11 Lincoln bus, relaxing atmosphere, great music and reading material, reasonable prices and most importantly - i always leave with great hair!
Great Hair and Great Music-A Gem of a Shop – Both my husband and I go to Fox Hair. After many years at a much larger and more impersonal salon it's great to have this gem right down the street from my house. I have been going to Jenny Lovell and she's superb with cuts and color. Best Hair Salon on Chicago's North Side – Fox Hair is a great salon in Lakeview near an Irish Bistro. All the staff are very accomodating and friendly, offering something to drink when you walk in the door. The salon is cheery, with fresh flowers and interesting art.
