nice! – After watching travel tv shows and reading the positive review on websites about this hotel, I booked 3 nights in September 2009. The rate was a little steep, but I decided to go ahead since this was a splurge-type weekend trip anyway. We always wanted to visit San Diego, and on a short notice deal I found on the net, I got a good deal on airfare too. horrible customer service! – This hotel has horrible customer service. My brother who is in the Army decided to get married in California and stay at Hotel Del Coronado for thier honeymoon. They made a reservation over the phone and they were told all they had to do was check in after thier wedding. When they arrived they were told that they needed to pay a 500$ deposit and they did not have the money to pay it. They ended cancelling thier room, but obviously they were charged a cancellation fee. The fee was $500 if you were... read more
