My friends & I stayed in the Creek Waters cabin in late June, 2017. The cabin was quite charming and we enjoyed our stay very much. The Four Seasons Cottages & Cabins are conveniently located to the Flowering Bridge (within walking distance) and Lake Lure (within walking distance for walkers or less than 5 minutes in the car). We stayed in the Creek Water cabin that is part of the Four Seasons. We were attending the Dirty Dancing 8th annual Festival. The cabin was close to the festival grounds which made it easy to get there. The cabin and furnishings are very attractive, comfortable and pleasant. There is a huge screened in porch across the front. This was perfect for 2 couples to enjoy but not feel like we were in each other's way. The bedrooms are large and each had their own bath room. We have just returned from a wonderful vacation at the Four Seasons Cottages and Cabins. Our group traveled from Pennsylvania. There were 10 adults and 3 children. We stayed in Autumn Slendor, Creek Waters and Blue Skies cabins. Everything is as great as described. The children really enjoyed the loft area. We had morning coffee on the spacious screened-in decks. We probably would have spent more time on the decks, but the weather was very warm and the cool cabins were more to our liking for our week.
We have stayed in one cabin and both cottages... All three were absolutely great! Very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Beautiful decor! We love Lake Lure and will return as often as possible. I would recommend Four seasons cottages, they truly are top notch! The owner, Pat, is so welcoming and helpful and makes the process of checking in and out flawless. It's a perfect weekend getaway... 5 star!!
Lake Lure has the best of both worlds--gorgeous mountains AND a lake with a beach. We stayed at one of the Four Seasons Cottages last July (Sundance) and we could have hardly asked for a nicer, cleaner, more comfortable place. The beds were comfortable and restful. The kitchen was clean and stocked with everything a person could need. There were books everywhere that you could borrow. I even borrowed a walking stick to hike up to the waterfall at Chimney Rock. We just returned home from a fabulous stay at the Blue Skies Cabin and I can't say enough wonderful things about this cabin. It has so much character and is warm and cozy. The owner has gone to great lengths to make sure you have everything you need while there. Best of all, the cabin was absolutely spotless when we arrived! All the appliances worked wonderfully and the air was nice and cold. We were so comfortable here, the beds were great, and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. We stayed in the Sundance unit and were absolutely delighted with everything. The unit sits across the street from the Flowering Bridge and we could look out the windows and see the bridge lit up with Christmas decorations. The furnishings were perfect for our needs and we enjoyed our stay. The house is located only a block off the main street through town and we could be in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure in 1-2 minutes. First thank you Mrs. Pam for such a great welcome and send off. This trip was last minute and it was awesome. Love the cabin, the customer service and the beautiful views. I just wanted to stay and enjoy the beauty of it all. Mrs. Pam was excellent in giving advice about great places to visit. She also has discount tickets for Lake Lure so be sure to ask about it.
