Just save yourself the time and headache with this place. If I could give 0 stars I seriously would. My fiancé and I applied for this apartment Sunday after talking all day with the leasing agent. Monday we get a call saying that someone else has applied before us and we’re no longer able to rent the apartment. They claimed someone else applied before us. There is big issue which hot water in this building. There are not replying your emails and calls in the emergency conditions.

This is a decent apartment complex, but there are quite a few issues. First, they have recently gone through a transition of managment. The new manager is never in office & you cannot get ahold of her by phone or email. You ALWAYS have to go above her and contact a higher-up at the company to get anything done. I understand that she is managing multiple apartment sites, but if you have to contact someone else for everything, what is the point of having a manager that is never available? Just visiting. Very botanical neighborhood. Views of water, bridges. Concrete walls so cannot hang art much. Bathroom small but okay, bedroom, kitchen and living room reasonable sized. Lovely wall of windows, patio. No traffic noise indoors. Long-walk-able to UW, or the Arboretum.

I lived here for 4 years. Not a terrible place but not great either, saw quite a few rats around the property but never in my apartment. They did screw me on my last months rent though. I moved out on the 18th and they charged me for a full month. Despite frequent contact they refused to prorate the last months rent. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place and the place next door which are run by the same company.
