The Asian woman at the front desk was quite superior and it was indeed the worst service I have ever seen.
Overall, the hotel was a serviceable place to sleep, especially if you aren't a light sleeper. It just wasn't a "great" hotel. Maybe up to Four Points standards but not what I would call a classic Marriot hotel. If you are a light sleeper, suggest staying away from Powell Street side of the hotel. It's an elevated road way and you can hear cars fairly loudly revving their engines. These are the lower room numbers, ending in 01 up to maybe 14 or so. We felt safe and welcome. Lots of food place in walking distance .
Great location near nice restaurants and shopping. Great service. Hotel is a little older but has been spruced up nicely.
Great location and great room, but the restroom is tiny, and car traffic can be a little loud at night
