2 stars for rooms facing the street. Very loud road noise heard even with high a/c fan speed. Always face the parking lot. Service was also poor. Upon checking in I asked if my room was ready. Reply was "check in is 4pm". That's not what I asked. When they finally did look, surprise my room was ready. Restaurant on site was excellent. Very good breakfast. Two options are included with your stay. Easy walk to arena's and convention center.
Great location to walk to the beach, hockey school. Terrible coffee in the room though.
The rooms were not clean. There was too much dust on furniture and the basic necessities were missing like cups. The towels in the washroom were not displayed properly. I heard a lot about the place but didn't like it in terms of hygiene. The person at the reception in the morning was very cold and wasn't feeling like no customer skills looked like he was forced to do his job.
We enjoyed a one night stay at the Sheraton Penticton in April. Check-in was seamless with Balkaran Singh (he was also a great waiter in the Palmer restaurant). Our meal was excellent, prepared by Executive Chef Shaijeev Muthappan. Sumit at the front desk was also very professional when we departed. Overall a great hotel with very dedicated and courteous staff.
