Great location in Soho. Super friendly staff. Genesis was very helpful sharing great recommendations for eateries nearby the hotel. Rooms are okay.
The location is undeniably amazing. However, the rooms are too small and not clean enough. When you enter a bad smell welcomes you in and then. The TV is cracked and the pillows are tattered. The flush was getting stuck so I had to fix it. The carpets were stained. The staff at reception cant say they were very nice. I really did not enjoy staying there at all and was terribly disappointed. Yes, location matters but you also would need space to breath and chill.
Stayed here for my anniversary and the hotel is close to everything I wanted to see.
This location cannot be beat if you are spending a lot of time downtown - multiple subway lines are very close by and can get you anywhere you need to go. The hotel is fine - rooms are decent size for Manhattan, the bathrooms are quite small and the bathroom sink is ridiculously small and water gets everywhere. You can hear things in the hall, outside...but it's Manhattan, it's not that bad. The hotel really needs some freshening up as it's age is starting to show.
