I booked a rewards night at this location with the understanding that they were remodeling and converting to a DoubleTree. They did remodel the room and add new furniture, but there were some issues with the room. The front door needed to be forced to be closed and the back door didn't have a privacy function. There was also no paper products in the room, no kleenex or toilet tissue at all. The shower area also did not have any means to hand a towel anywhere nearby. Not a fan of leaving bad reviews, but now that we have $91 in additional charges to our not so well stay, I am going to do so. We arrived to a hotel under major construction. Debris outside flying around from the construction crew throwing trash in the parking lot, trying to walk on sticky floors (glue), trying to figure out which staircase to take to get to the room because everything was blocked off from construction, a very dirty and chilly spa, no locked entry doors whatsoever, in fact, the doors were propped open by con... read more

When we arrived at the hotel late at night after a long drive from Denver, the hotel looked deserted. While checking in a sign stated they would be converting the hotel to a Doubletree. I asked the front desk and they said it would change over sometime in December. We were assigned room 254 and told to drive around the building, but not to go to door B because the card-reader was not working there. We were told to go to door A. Doing a Major Renovation. The Gal that runs the Restaurant/bar is great. I met 2 front desk personnel who were nice. The other 3 front desk personnel were snooty, aloof and very disrespectful. Lied to me right straight to my face. Wasn't impressed with the front desk staff as a whole.
