The BEST groomer I have ever been to! I have taken my schnauzer to many groomers. She always ends up getting scared each time she goes. We have been to Four Paws now a few times and she has no fears! They do not use cages, the cut is always perfect and you can tell that the girls there really love their job and animals. I LOVE this place and will recommend them to everyone that I know.
Sammy loves Jenny and Staff @ Four Paws I picked up our fourth rescue Greyhound "Sammy" who was covered in dirt, and urine etc. Several people from EGHS where I work said Jenny and her staff were the best around...loving and very caring people. I would not take Sammy anywhere else as he was treated like a king and came out so beautiful and very happy. Unprofessional Who knows how they groom, all I do know is they do not meet their commitments. After calling in this morning to make an appointment to have my Goldendoodle groomed, they made an appoint for 2PM. I found such a late appointment in the day odd as I had already stated that it had been some time since my dog's last grooming and anyone with knowledge of this breed will know that as they do not shed--try as one might to prevent it--they mat. Great value and loving care! Four Paws is the best thing that ever happened to our sweet dog. She's a 14 year old lab mix who has been an important part of our family and Jenny and her team treat her with loving care. A friend recommended Four Paws to us and we think they're worth every penny. They do a beautiful job on her everytime!
Four Paws is the best! I LOVE Four Paws! Patti and Jenny are WONDERFUL! I have been bringing my two Labs and two Maltese there for about two years now. I love them! They are the best groomers I've ever brought my pets to.
Best Groomer on Earth! Hands down the best groomer I've ever been to. Long time dog owner. Have 2 adopted dogs now & Jenny @ Four Paws treats them so well (as if they were her own) that they LIKE going to the groomer. Before I found Four Paws (by recommendation from my vet & playcare owner), we tried other groomers & my dogs were never happy to get groomed. They get excited, wag their tails, & pull me in. Poor, low-quality grooming This groomer does the same deal on every dog. She gives every dog a "short cut for summer" even if it is a blizzard outside. My dog got the dreaded buzz cut as well, but it wasn't what I asked for. And don't even get me started on what his head looked like; it was box-shaped, which was odd. He had what looked like a ledge along the sides of his face. I probably could have used his head as a shelf and sat books on it. I'm finding it hard to believe that these previous reviews are true. I can assure you that this dog salon is the best dog salon you will come across in the Illinois area. Jenny is amazing at what she does, and she is a certified dog groomer. She gives her full, undivided attention to the dog she is working on. If a dog has to wait, they are in a comfortable waiting situation. They are either running around the store playing with toys, or they are in a comfortable, clean dog cage. Four Paws Gromming is a perfect place to bring your pet. The owner, Jenny, was very kind and patient with our nervous pup who has never been groomed before. The owner gave us great tips for home follow up care and even returned a purchased item with no hassles! Beautiful shop kept so clean with dog friendly pen areas for each pet while they wait. We'll be going back!
