Excellent Lincoln Park Restaurant and Bar – Every time I visit Chicago, I dine at The Four Farthings. Usually I eat the crab cakes which are exquisite. Last time I ordered the talapia which was the best I have ever had. The vegetable selections are delicious and very fresh...I usually order the green beens. Incredible Neighborhood Party Bar – If you like live music, free party room, great beer, and amazing local flavor, you must check out this place! We threw a 40th birthday party for our girl friend that started out in the back room (which is free!) with amazing service from a great waitstaff. The live music was great and before the night was over, everyone was dancing in the aisles! What a way to spend a freezing night in Chicago!

They take care of their patrons – We needed a place for a birthday party and learned they had a FREE party room in back. The room was not large but easily fit nearly 40 people who could sit or stand around a large table in the center. The manager recommended that we order appetizers as we needed them. Tremendous food – Really, really good. The one bad review on this board, is because the place was already full. What does that mean? It means its good. Sorry pal, but the world isn't here to serve you! Go for lunch, try a special.
You can't go wrong here – I really like this place, the food is very good (try the steak/mushroom salad or the steaks). The atmosphere is nice and the service is capable and attentive. I would recommend this place when you are looking for a place to have some good food and a few drinks.
