Noisy, snobs – Very noisy. Reservations mean nothing. Treat you like you're lucky to be there. Very noisy (didn't learn a thing with their Raleigh location). On the other hand, the food is to die for. But you can die for food somewhere else with more ambience, style and poise. Did I say it was noisy?

Great place to feel right at thome! – My family and friends dine at 411 regularly as well as grabbing take out now and then. Every time I am there, the food is fabulous and the staff are all very friendly! It is the place all my out of town guests want to go - and for good reason! It is always a good time - great wine and great food!

Why Do People Think This Place Is Good? – Four Eleven West is a mediocre Italian restaurant. It has a more creative menu than Romano's Macaroni Grill, but its food isn't any better. I have yet to find a dependable, bread-and-butter Italian restaurant in the Triangle. I guess compared to the other low-grade restaurants on Franklin Street, Four Eleven West seems like a four-diamond experience to college and grad students. a little wine and a little romance – My boyfriend and I actually ate here before a semi-formal event with two other friends and had an amazing time. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Service was extremely friendly. They were attentive. I loved the wine selection. We had a bottle of Pinot Noir and it was fantastic. The food was immaculate. Portions were a bit too large for me but I generally eat very small portions. I'd recommend 411.

romantic, expensive four eleven west is a great Italian restaurant with a romantic atmosphere (think white tablecloth, candles), however it is a bit pricey. But that's how fancy restaurants always are. they do have very good pasta and coffee. It's a nice place to go on your anniversary or birthday and make sure you don't wear jeans and sneakers.

Best Italian Food In Chapel Hill Four Eleven (411) West offers the best Italian food in Chapel Hill. Nestled on Franklin Street next to the McDonalds, this small restaurant offers fresh authentic Italian food for lunch and dinner. Each meal is served with their signature dill bread, which melts in your mouth. If you cannot get over to Chapel Hill, try 411’s sister restaurant in Raleigh, 518, at 518 West Jones Street.

Probably won't return – Just this evening my family and I had dinner at Four Eleven West Franklin. Simply put, I was not terribly impressed. The surroundings were nice, but not great. The acoustics are terrible in this restaurant; every sound seems to build on itself as it echoes around the brick and stucco walls. Very noisy atmosphere made more for the younger crowd. Casual or Romantic, you choose Four Eleven West is a great restaurant, whatever the occasion. Excellent food (we had steak and pasta, both were to die for) with fantastic desserts as well, and really good coffee. You can go casual there, as with most places on Franklin Street, but it is also a great place for a special night out. My hubby and I went for our anniversary and felt it was appropriately festive. They have a good wine list and a full bar, plus outdoor dining if you wish. Locally owned and operated.
