We’ve lived at Fountain Ridge Apartments for nearly five years, and while we have liked our apartment, management’s failure to address ongoing security issues is unacceptable. Packages have been stolen from the mailroom multiple times over the years. Most recently, a Christmas gift was taken within an hour of delivery. Love my apartment, but detest the fact that mail is stolen from the mail room. No cameras - - management claims not responsible for lost/stolen items! Best advice: get a p.o. box or have your packages delivered to a UPS Store. The tenants are not going to take it anymore!
On site management "only does tours" (actual quote from them) for everything else you will be directed to corporate who will not respond to calls, emails, or service request tickets. Our rent went up $200/month when we renewed our lease. Electric bill for 2bd unit will be at least $250-300 in winter due to heat being electric and units poorly designed. This place is a joke. We applied for an apartment here and got approved. We paid our security deposit and first months rent. The day that we went to go pick up our keys and MOVE IN they told us that they changed their minds and our dog would not be allowed after all. Mind you, our dog is NOT one of the restricted breeds and is a total sweetheart. They also refused to give us back our security deposit and first months rent. Stay away … I lived here for nearly 5 years and would be considered a model tenant by any measure. The apartment was not properly cleaned from construction when I moved in, and I left it nearly spotless when I moved out, yet was charged huge cleaning fees. The pictures provided to justify the fees were not even my apartment… so shady. Requested maintenance was never performed. I was threatened with immediate eviction for putting up a Ring doorbell. Rent was increased by huge amounts every year. Awful management! Stay away!
