I was in the Intracoastal Waterway about 7 year's ago on my Cigarette 38' "Top Gun" ...... saw Reggie coming down the Waterway..... we stopped... talked .... I had 1150 HP in my Top Gun .... after we took off .... he played along side of me for about 1 mile .... needless to say ... he never disclosed to me he had triple 600 HP engines in that 42 he was piloting.... he suddenly let it goooooo !!!! He Smoked me ..... !!!!!!! then stopped again to show me the POWER .... Fountains are Great Boats .... !!!
Reggie Fountain is the OG when it comes to fast, very fast sport powerboats! Few builders can boast their Boss gets right behind the helm,hand on the throttles and pave the way or part the sea for many more to come. With Reggie's trademark nose style it's a unmistakable boat that skims right past you! He did me like that years ago when I thought I had a hot Thunderbird! He created "Join me" or lose....... quite a man, quite a boat, still.
I have owned my Fountain since 2006 and just love the performance, quality, design and heritage with Reggie the King of offshore.
Love the power and sound, nothing beats that fountain sound and speed! Personally don’t have one but plenty of friends do and grew up around them. Also know Mr. Reggie and other people that have worked there. Lots of work goes into making sure these boats were top notch and perfect!
