RecommendedEverything I’ve ever tried from their menu has been delicious. I love also picking up casseroles, chicken salad, chili, and desserts to go. During the lockdown of spring 2020 I would order and pick up several items every week. FOJ saved us!! Finally, if there is an award for the most friendly, hard-working and thoughtful (she remembers my name and asks about my family) restaurant staff member in the state of Georgia, then Brittany Cater wins every time.

simply amazing restaurant
It’s my 11 year wedding anniversary today. Should be in SSI celebrating on the ocean. But thanks to corona we are stuck at home with kids. We were hoping a good dinner would cheer us up. And that it did! We ordered the filet steak night special and it was absolutely fabulous. Ate every bite. Amazing service, fresh, hot, cooked perfectly. The cheesecake was light and fluffy and perfect. Thank you guys so much for a least giving us a wonderful anniversary meal.
FOJ has been one of my favorite places since they were on Vineville. Best chicken salad, salads and apps! John is the best server and Brittany has always been so helpful & friendly from day one! My mom and I try to come in atleast once a week to support one of the best local businesses in Macon 😘
Our fave eatery in town! The BEST French dip! Love the Pavo and the Nachos with lobster and shrimp are to die for. A must see/eat at place.

Bc when my daughter and I went to eat there and ordered a carafe of mimosas...when our check came we saw that ONE carafe was MORE than the COST of ONE MEAL (which is ridiculous). Btw, our meals were the same and were on the high end (filet with crab). Simple answer...I won't be going back even though I truly love their food 😔😔 so disappointed 😔😔

Tammy, not sure you realize our carafes hold 6 glasses of mimosas...larger than a bottle. Hence the price point. It’s actually a deal if you were to order them by the glass. And we also pour LaMarca proseco, which isn’t cheap. Hopefully you understand the pricing a little better and understand it’s quite reasonable.
