Rental bike was in extremely poor condition .
I've rented EMTBs here twice now. Each time has been a great experience. New, well-maintained bikes; great trails in the area; the friendliest and most accomodating staff. Special thanks to Jamie and her husband for letting us get the most out of our day and offering us a beer after!
My wife had taken her bike in here to have a flat changed, said that the guy was in a hurry and asked if he could just knock it out real quick before a larger repair. +1 star for customer service, -4 stars for the damage to alignment, spoke, and damaged tube he installed (common issue where rubber is cracked where spout meets tube).
These guys saved my trip! Flew in from UK and forgot my wahoo mount. REI sold me a wahoo mount missing the clamp screw. Discovered it missing whilst my mate was driving me out to the start of my trip. Found McDowell’s and the workshop broke out their box of bits and found me a replacement screw! Love it! Trip saved!! Thanks guys!
Very helpful. Took time to share info and map suggestions based on riding style and ability. Good equipment. Reasonable price
