Cool place, good food. I like the atmosphere
I love the Foundry - However, I was very disappointed last night. It felt like I was hit with a lot of petty charges! I asked for bread to go with my dinner salad. I was offered pita or foccia. When the bill came there was a $2 charge for Pita and then a $3 upcharge for foccia. Ok, if they had told me but they didn't. Add to my bill agrevation, there was a 3% Kitchen fee added for the kitchen staff. It all felt really petty. The tomato soup and grilled cheese was divine! The best grilled cheese sandwich I think I've ever had!
Amazing brunch! Based off the atmosphere I always thought the price point would be too high for me, but it was more affordable than I thought and honestly the brunch was worth every penny. The shaken espresso shocked me at how good it was. My friend ordered the grilled cheese & tomato soup while I got the eggs Benedict and we were both obsessed. Truly a great spot and lucky to have it in Davis!
