My house closed a week ago. Everyone got paid— realtor and lawyers. Buyers got keys to house. AND I STILL DON’T HAVE THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF MY HOUSE. My lawyer followed up after the closing to find out when I would receive check, but received no call from Foundation Title. Good luck in getting the proceeds from the sale of your house.

I've dealt with my share of horrendously-run businesses, but Foundation Title in Roseland takes the cake. I only have experience with this particular office, so can't speak to other locations. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt as I understand that it is a busy time that we're in, but it's truly no excuse. There is just simply no reason to have unanswered emails, phone calls or for them to not mail things out in a timely manner (or in our case not at all!). Recently my son closed his first townhouse And Foundation Title company was selected by his Attorney, David Sachs in Metuchen, NJ. Which was huge huge mistake. My son was first time home buyer. Since Sep 4, my son inform his lawyer he must close this property on Sep 18. Day before On sep 17 closing scheduled to 3pm on Sep. 18 No one bother to let my son know they require closing fees and some bank escrow money in certified Bsnk check. At 4pm attorneys came out and ask my son did you bring certified check. My son got shock. H... read more
