The advocacy mission of The Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research is vital, but the facility's severe operational, safety, and patient-care failures cannot be ignored any longer. The infusion and medication protocols are highly alarming and dangerously inconsistent. Pain management doses are completely inaccurate, changing drastically from one visit to the next, depending entirely on which nurse is administering them.
