I came across a really cool piece of hidden history connected to the Foundation Building Materials location and I just wanted to share it. While looking through some old photos, I found one of the Southern Pacific Railroad’s roundhouse from 1890. Turns out, the current building of FBM is in fact the old roundhouse!
