I felt like she did not listen to my individual situation and instead put me into a box of what she thought my condition should be.
You will have to wait to see her, but her quality of care is top notch. That is why she is late because her quality of each appointment is so high. I should know because I was a medical student. She treated and got my depression under control. I felt very comfortable to share things with her and she did not judge at all. I never felt rushed to leave an appointment like at other psychiatrists. I knew if I saw Dr. Fougy my problems would surely be addressed.
You will wait at least 2 hours every time. Also, you may want to know that if you ever have a quick question or anything you need to discuss over the phone, she will not return your phone call. I needed to speak with her because I had a question about my records that my life insurance company was requesting from her. I left her 2 messages then was told she can not return your phone call because she is always busy patients. I have never heard of a doctor not setting ANY time aside for calls
