I purchased 2 exterior cameras directly. Their sales rep Dean stated that the cameras could record video if I purchased 2 micro SD cards and installed them. After installing I opened their app and was bombarded with advertisements to buy their expensive cloud storage. Dean told me to ignore them. After 2 months of trying to get the cameras to record to the app the support rep in China (Nora) is now saying the problem is not the camera or the app but my SD cards. POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS. I will NEVER recommend to anyone I know. And, no support for Canadian customers! Check out the brand's Canadian website, foscam.ca, you will understand!
I have been using Foscam products for 5 years. I have 10 cameras in service and have not had any failures. I recently damaged one of the camera's CAT 6 cable sockets and informed Foscam tech support. They immediately mailed me a replacement socket no charge. I recommend Foscam products.
Extremely happy with the Foscam security camera . The support staff are awesome and fast.
