This place is a garbage dump. Slower than a snail on Xanax. They took out the wrong tooth. Not once but twice. Wanted to fit me for dentures when I only had 2 teeth missing. The 2 they had already pulled out. And guess what... I still need the bad tooth out. And they refuse to do any more work for me. They sure didn't have a hard time taking my money though. Scam artist scum.

Overcharged My wife & I went for our yearly dental x-rays, which were supposed to be covered 100% by insurance. Later we received a bill from LakeWales Dentistry for hundreds of dollars which the insurance refused to pay. It seems they did some type of x-rays, that we did not authorize or approve, that were not covered by our insurance. Strangest dental visit I've ever had. A hygienist (I presume) (who spoke just above a whisper with a strong accent) (she is from Nepal) took xrays. Then behind me she discussed them with someone, again in a low voice so I couldn't hear what they were saying. Then she took another full set of xrays. I became a patient of Okaloosa Family Dentist in 2023 and have been so happy I found Dr. Hoy! After several disappointing experiences with other local dentists, I had all but given up. It seemed these practitioners were too busy to answer any of my questions, discounted my fears and were even irritated that I would ask. Not so with Dr. Hoy. I had a procedure six weeks ago and kept wondering why my insurance company hadn't paid the claim since the office staff told me they had sent it in and that it takes 30 days to process. Today, I called my insurance company, and they told me they have not received any claims! So I called the office. Predictably, no one answered the phone, so I left a detailed voice mail telling them where to send the claim and asked them to call me back and let me know they sent it.
