Fun, fitness, and family all in one place! The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and energetic who all truly care about making a positive impact in people's lives. This gym provides a home to seasoned athletes and those looking to start their fitness journey. The community is welcoming (no cliques here!), and the program is made to achieve those fitness milestones. The facility is well maintained and has a shower! Lucky to be part of this gym!
I found CrossFit Ventura when I moved to California. I was looking for that community vibe that was inviting and motivating. I found exactly that and more within my first class! It was special to find my fitness family when I moved here and this gym is the reason I was able to adjust so quickly! I look forward each day to getting a good workout in from both the WOD and all the laughs!
Started at Crossfit Ventura 3 years ago when I got a diagnosis of low bone density. Since research supports resistance training and higher impact training as a way to offset further loss or even add bone density, I signed up despite having not lifted weights in like 20. years. This gym has literally changed my life, DEXA scan after 2 years showed a 20% increase in bone strength/density without taking meds (which definitely might be the right thing for many - see your doc!).
