Windows are old, non-insulated sliders. Don't let the "Non-smoking Building" signs posted everywhere fool you; this is absolutely a smoking building. Every night I smell cigarettes coming through vents into my apartment, and every night I wish I was somewhere else. You can smell what your neighbor is cooking inside your apartment.
