Renters Beware! Pool is not open, likely will not be this summer (2014) at all. Our first year here was great, we signed another year lease but now the gutter is falling off the front of our building (has been like that for 2 months), there is a hole in our hallway that has been there for 3 months, they are "waiting for a part", and to top it off-- the pool, which I was so greatly looking forward to, is out of order--indefinitely. Can't Wait To Leave – I just had my car broken into for the second time - do NOT move in here. It's right down the street from the Village Apartments which are low income and have a high crime rate, as does every other place within a few blocks. The building is so old and seals so bad that ant infestations are common. It is NOT soundproof as they claim; I can hear the neighbors next to and above me. The Forum Manager here . . . – Hello everyone. Just thought I would briefly defend my property. I believe I know the person who wrote the previous review and would like to give you some quick info. It IS a very good idea to take pictures of damage to the apartment. It is a better idea to even take the manager through the apartment with you before you turn in your keys. NEVER live at the forum apartments – The forum apartments are the worst apartments that you could get in Mt Pleasant. NEVER live there. The office staff is VERY unfriendly, the maintence workers are rude and judgemental and NEVER do thier job. All the forum staff does all day is sit in the main office and play pool, occationally answering phones. They dont take complaints seriously, unless they have something against you as a person.
