Dr. Wical doesn’t seem to take so kindly to gender non-conforming people. Got the impression that I made him uncomfortable, either that or he was silently judging me. In terms of professionalism, there’s room for improvement.
Timothy Wical is the best Psychiatrist I know. Friendly, welcoming and understanding. Quite knowledgeable too and non- judgemental. If in need of a Psychiatrist, he won't disappoint.
I went to Timothy Wical at Fortitude psychiatric supportive services today & I feel 10x worse than I did before. I went to him for MENTAL health - depression, anxiety & diagnosed agoraphobia - instead of him looking at my current depression/anxiety meds to possibly find a better combo or adjust the amount, he focused on me being in a pain management program & being prescribed by a pain Dr. I did not go to him for pain nor did I ask him about it & I don’t believe he is qualified for pain management. Dr. Wical is amazing in his field. He has never failed to return my message or email within 24 hours (more like within a few hours). Dr. Wical is very accommodating when it comes to referrals and school letters. He does, what I think, a very good initial mental evaluation. I have always felt like my mental health wasn’t taken very seriously by my previous providers.
