Love the veal parm sandwich on seasame bread. Good stuff!
went for dinner and started off with a few apps,wanted to try a specialty pizza but wasn't offered in the tiny dining room so we went with the "stuffed "artichoke , ginger calamari, and clams org, wow what a disgrace the artichoke was smashed down flat like a pancake and was smothered in some nasty brown unappealing garlic based sauce with some breadcrumbs sprinkled in , the leaves had no meat on what so ever, waitress pick no less,horrible. next the special ginger calamari which was rubbery with very little taste ,the clams... read more
Forte's pizzeria is definitely one of the best around. It's not only a pizzeria it's also a fine restaurant. My favorite is the buffalo chicken slice. The service is very fast and friendly. My co-workers alway get the grilled chicken with fresh mozz, roasted peppers and fresh arugula. So if your in the Essex County area don't forget Forte's on Bloomfield avenue.
