My overall experience with VA Fort Meade care is good, but doctors seem under pressure to see patients quickly. My annual exam felt rushed only five minutes and I had to continue discussing concerns while my doctor got up and walked to the door. Accessing speciality care and going to the Baltimore VA is a nightmare unless you get an virtual appointment. It would greatly help if Fort Meade patients could use the Washington D.C, Va specialty services because the Baltimore Va system is overwhelmed and not safe.
Avoid this place at all cost.
Walked in for the first time. The window representatives are not friendly. Went up to the wrong window and got yelled at to go to another window. I then proceeded to ask questions and they felt bothered by it.
The attitude is insane here. The front desk lady just screams…throws id…refuses to help. If that our job, just quit! Don’t do these to our service members..UNSAT! A formal complaint will be filed!
Seems like they only have one laboratory technician. Lab is only open 8am to 11am. Usually long waiting times in general. I went to a much better VA clinic in a different state and this one doesn’t even compare. I haven’t been to Glen Bernie but that clinic might be better than this.
