RecommendedGreat people, good horses and worked well with my nine yr old.
We had a great time on a beautiful day. The Staff are all very nice and professional. They are all seasoned cowboys and know each horse and their mannerisms. The horses are well groomed and you can tell they are well cared for. The trail is fun and even crosses the river a couple of times, which was exciting. We will be back and we highly recommend them.
Took a 2 hour trail ride Monday 3/16/2020, this was a most amazing ride. So relaxing and nice to be out in nature! Enjoyed crossing the Salt River several times. My horse "Double Stuff" is such an awesome girl, she knows just what she's doing, all I really had to do was ride, she is a gentle giant! Our guide Dallon was super nice too! Will be back to ride again!

Great place to live the spirit of the West
I highly recommend the trail ride at Fort McDowell Adventures. We did the two hour and had an amazing time. Make sure you wear long heavy pants (like jeans) and closed toed shoes. Listen to your guide and have fun!
Such a fantastic trail ride! we had the wild Horses around us as we were saddling up! Our guides were great! I was hoping to ride through water, however there were kids on our ride so maybe that's why we didnt? Overall fantastic!
Extremely happy with our experience at Fort McDowell Adventures! We were well taken care of from start to finish. Kids had the option of wearing helmets & directions were given & demonstrated. Charles was a fabulous guide! Knowledgeable, friendly, & had a great personality. We felt very safe on our ride. We can’t wait to do it again! We will definitely be back :)
