I went in and the exam was good. After talking with him about alternative contacts, he puts me in some that supposedly had more hydration to them. I used them that day and 5 hours later my eyes started burning. I took them out and my eyes got worse. I could not open them for about an hour. I had to go to work the next day so I wore my glasses. I went in after work and explained to them what had happened. The secretary was great in helping me but the doctor basically refused to help. I asked for a pair of new trials with the ... read more

I am sorry that the new trials didn’t work out like we had hoped. We were trying lenses with higher water content. If something went wrong with those trials and irritated your eyes then it is a good idea to stay out of contacts for a few days to let your eyes recover. I am sorry if we did not communicate this to you well enough. We did authorize the prescription to be changed back to your previous brand immediately and I believe you took the new updated prescription with you that day.

My husband and I have been coming to Dr. Simonson for about 3 or 4 years now and every single time we are treated like close friends!! We also started taking our daughter at 6 months old. He made her first appointment so easy and was so great with her!! We were introduced through my husbands old job and even after him switching jobs and us moving about an hour away; we travel to come see Dr. Simonson because he's just that good!!!
I am on my second pair of glasses from there, treated like first class, would not even consider going elsewhere.
Dr. Simonson is skilled, thorough, and likes horses. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is simply the best! Check out the 2 for free deals, too.
