Fort just completed our dock remodel in two days. They were working on a neighbors dock across the canal and after I tried and failed to resurface my Own dock, I walked over and asked them for a quote. Tauan took down my address and told me he would be by my place when he was done for the day. He gave me some material recommendations and a few days later they started. Two days after that, our dock was finished with all new decking. Honest and hardworking small company. Would use Fort decks again.

POTENTIAL CUSTOMER BEWARE****** If there was a 0 star rating that would be the correct number! I would not recommend Fort Construction for your deck, dock (or anything). The owner, Tauan promised the world but in the end he could not deliver. Tauan is clearly an amateur and has almost zero communication skills. Missed appointments, no text response and zero ability to update the customer on the status of the project. We had our dock built by these guys here in Lighthouse Point, FL. they are a family owned and operated business and do quality work. They gave us different ideas for which PVC decking to use on our dock and even drew us a 3d rendering of our exact dock so we could see what different colors would look like. I recommend them for all your decks and docks needs.

Fort has done quite a few projects for my clients. (I'm in the real estate business) Before I used to charge a fee for referring construction companies to my clients but after many problems I had with unhappy customers I stopped. I met Tauan at BNI and he asked me if clients ever needed construction services. Not going to leave a long review here. All I will say it that Fort construction is a good small family operated company who take a lot of pride in the work that they perform. If something goes wrong they will go above and beyond to make it right.

There is no reason why this should not be a five star company. These guys are fast, reliable and have a good price. If you are looking for cheap, poor quality work to just get by then don't call them now if you are looking for good workmanship at a reasonable price then give him a ring. Just had my first job done by them and have no complaints. Good stuff
