Decided to take a last minute trip to Brownsville with the family and our two dogs as sort of a surprise for my wife's birthday to spend it with her family and friends. We typically stay at her parents house but since it was last minute didn't want to show up with little to no notice. I found this place on the Airbnb app at a very reasonable price, pet friendly and really just needed a place to sleep because we planned on hanging out and doing things with la familia. I visited a friend here for a week. The complex is an easy walk to campus or downtown. There is a pool, outdoor tables, covered parking, and a beautiful view of the estuary and campus. Beautiful local birds aren't scared of people, but don't bother you. It's a wonderfully maintained mid-century modern building.
