Forouz Jowkar is an incredibly intelligent and through practitioner. She is able to meet you exactly where you are at and comes up with protocols that work. Her knowledge of functional medicine is extensive and impressive. I would recommend her to anyone struggling with challenging illnesses or any illness for that matter. Going to see Forouz is one of the best things I’ve ever done for my health. When I came to her a year ago, I was dealing with many food allergies that resulted in severe breathing difficulties that did not respond to traditional prescription asthma medications. I went to Forouz one month after a root canal that was causing me great discomfort. My discomfort consisted of elevated heart rate when sleeping on the side of the root canal, as well as dizziness and a general ill feeling. She immediately said I should pull the tooth, and sent me to a biomedical dentist, Dr. Brookover. He then explained to me that the overfill in one of my tooth roots could be the problem. Forouz literally saved my life as well . Many times being low income she has not charged me a dime .. Forouz Jowkar an internal medicine specialist treats her patients with a professionalism that is beyond excellent . She has been my dr for 8 years . If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be alive .. Forouz Jowkar saved my life. By the time I reached her I was extremely sick. As soon as I entered Forouz’s office she took action - ordering tests, spending up to 2 hours discussing my symptoms, researching, calling to check up on me, and even accompanying me to other appts to advocate for me. When a specialist balked at testing, Forouz demanded that she order the test that ultimately diagnosed me. I am alive today because of Forouz’s passion for research and undying dedication to her patients.
$357 for an hour and a half visit? This sounds ridiculous. What could she possibly talk to me about for that long. Also they don't accept insurance. They seem to only care to the absolute elite who would be dumb enough to pay this much.
