We frequented Forlini’s way before became a hip retro-spot. The place has kept up its charm but I can’t says the same for the service, and the food was hit or miss. We were a large party and the waiter didn’t care to listen. He insisted on having us order certain appetizers even though some of us wanted something else or had dietary restrictions. He was also late with my entry and brought out the wrong order for a couple of us (fried shrimp parmesan instead of broiled fish - quite a stretch) and the veal chop lacked flavor. ... read more

Don’t bother with Little Italy if you want great Italian food in a cozy “goodfellas” style eatery. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service.
