Just had dinner tonight and ceviche and calamari were great. Wife and I had the scallops and they were quite spicy and the scallops were very small for $56. Not remotely worth it in my opinion. The biggest issue i had was they have now started to add a 3% charge for credit card. Totally unacceptable for a high end restaurant when a dinner for two is $200. What a lovely hidden local gem. I loved everything about it: from iconic photos on the walls, charming vibe, outstanding service, and eclectic menu that delighted my world traveller taste buds. It was fine, definitely not worth the price tag though. Our experience was just a collection of inconveniences and let downs. I purposely didn’t reserve a high top since they’re not as comfortable, but that’s where we ended up being sat. We ordered the fried green tomatoes which were pretty meh. The restaurant is located in an old house with lots of character. Very unique. Service was wonderful, with our waiter being very attentive. Started their version of an old fashion. It was definitely "spirit forward." Also a thier garden party. Light and refreshing. As an appetizer, we had the pork candy. Portion of roasted bacon with a sweet glaze.
