The concept of the old house and “prohibition” vibe is great. The food was really good but very expensive. Our server was excellent. The problem was it was 86 degrees inside the restaurant!!! We were all sweating so bad! Who can eat and enjoy a meal in that heat? It was cooler outside. I would wait until it’s cool outside to experience this restaurant. I don’t know how the employees make it through the night.
Cool vibe in a historic house, great cocktails, and the food’s legit. Not cheap, but worth it for a date night or special occasion. Service is exceptional—rare around here—and that matters a lot to me. One of the better spots around Lake Norman, no question. Extra points for the bone-in veal parm.
Food wasn't bad, but wasn't great and definitely not worth the price. Not trying to be uppity but if I'm gonna pay $100 per head at a restaurant i expect more. I got the ribeye with twice baked potato and broccollini. Ribeye was cooked well but didn't have herb oil like it said. Got potato wedges not twice baked potato. Broccollini was undercooked. My fiancée and I wanted to try it out after raving reviews from locals. The atmosphere was super nice and our server was great the food though mediocre at best. Super disappointing, the price point did not match the quality. For what we spent the food just wasn’t it. The server was phenomenal, the drinks were good and the experience was nice they try hard to create a good atmosphere.
