Great weird little place with lots of interesting decor. It was packed but they found us a table right away. Margs were large, sweet, and strong. Micheladas came with the rest of the beer can on the side. Fries were soggy and pretty bland. I’d come back for the drinks and would try other food

Their food is very good, I especially love the fruit bowl with Greek yogurt, but their service is very bad, I had to insist several times that I wanted a soda in a completely sealed can and twice they brought me a full glass of soda with ice to the table, after speaking with two waiters he insisted that it is their way of serving drinks to which I said okay I understand, however please bring me a soda in a sealed can, in the end they brought it in a very unpleasant manner. My life in NY is forever linked to this bar — it’s where I celebrated my 25th, where I bring all my out-of-state friends, and where I somehow always end up when I’m in the area for a quick drink. I love how kitschy, fun, and low-maintenance it is. With all the history of LES bars, this place definitely has its own special charm.
