Very nice trail to hike. Lotsa wildlife to see and many rest stop logs to sit on if you get tired. People are all friendly. It's a good place to get away from it all. You may see some deer or turkeys. Nice sunroom at the shelter to watch the birds eat.
One of the most pristine and clean parks I've ever had the honor of hiking in! So many trails for different levels of traversing that there's something here for everyone of all ages. Such a crown jewel here in Central Illinois.
This is one of Peoria's jewels! We live in Indiana & visit our son's family in Peoria. We love to hike in the Park.
What a great place to hike and hang out. Very well kept and beautiful. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
