Forest Park Hospice cared for my aunt recently and they did it with incredible compassion and dignity. The nurses and aides were so attentive to her, the social worker and chaplain supported our whole family, and the music therapists brought her peace and joy in a way nothing else could. They made us feel like family, and I will always be grateful. Highly recommend Forest Park Hospice to anyone in need.
I've spoken with several hospice providers, these folks were truly terrible. Disorganized. Chronically late, 1/2 - 1 hour every time. Love to give generic sales pitches but very reluctant to provide specifics on their own approach to hospice. I already know it's a Medicare-funded service, I already know it's comfort care vs curative care....it's the attitude, responsiveness and empathy I'm gauging during these hospice interviews. We recently entrusted Forest Park Hospice with the care of our loved one. Jessica, the community liason was very kind and knowledgeable answering all of our questions during our initial meeting and sign up process. We worked closely with nurse, Paris, and social worker, Chris, we're so easy to work with and had wonderful communication with our family. Both going above and beyond duty for our family.
