I've spoken with several hospice providers, these folks were truly terrible. Disorganized. Chronically late, 1/2 - 1 hour every time. Love to give generic sales pitches but very reluctant to provide specifics on their own approach to hospice. I already know it's a Medicare-funded service, I already know it's comfort care vs curative care....it's the attitude, responsiveness and empathy I'm gauging during these hospice interviews. We recently entrusted Forest Park Hospice with the care of our loved one. Jessica, the community liason was very kind and knowledgeable answering all of our questions during our initial meeting and sign up process. We worked closely with nurse, Paris, and social worker, Chris, we're so easy to work with and had wonderful communication with our family. Both going above and beyond duty for our family. Forest Park hospice is one of a kind! Such a variety of services that they provide their patients and amazing communication! Jessica Nosen, the liaison, is very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. They make everything easy for the client and family , and provide education for everyone involved.
