Claims they are a non-smoking building (lease states no smoking within 25 ft of property) but people smoke inside of apartments and on patios/balcony. You can't have windows/patio doors open without the stink of cigarette smoke coming into your apartment. The hallways also stink like a dirty ashtray. If you file a complaint, they do NOTHING except raise your rent in retaliation.
I found the property located at 7501 Parkview Rd Greendale, WI 53129, on Zillow.com. I sent an email from Zillow to the property owner. I received a callback but, due to my VM being full he could not leave a message. I called the number back within 2 mins of the missed call. The man (I forgot his name due to being extremely upset after speaking with him) that answered stated that he was responding to my email sent from Zillow. Rented at Maple Village for almost 5 years. I never had a problem with management, requests for maintenence were taken care of promptly. Grounds were mostly well maintained. Relocated to another city or would not have moved.
We are repeatedly without heat. From all appearances, the owner pockets the money from rent and doesn't bother with upkeep. So many things are broken and falling apart, and the boiler is on it's last leg. Rent goes up yearly with NOTHING to show for the increases. The management is rude and on site management is pretty much a joke.
