Forrest City Small Animal Clinic Dr. Blum is a delightful man, and an absolutely marvelous Vet. He handles my poodle like family, never putting him ill at ease. The staff is helpful and very friendly.
Dr. Blum is gone, but the Clinic still rocks with great service! Dr. Blum was beyond compare. He was taught old school, country veterinarian style of care. He would pick up the animals, cuddle them, examine them with his hands and intuition. No need for x-ray machines. No need for expensive tests. But he has passed on now and I will not compare any new doctor to him. No one can replace Dr. Blum. He will be missed by all who knew him. The current staff is beyond compare. Wonderful service. Wonderful people. Reasonable cost We have taken our pets to Dr. Blum and company for over 20 years and the service has been consistently good while the prices have never been unreasonable.
Caring Staff and A Wonderful Place to care for Pets! I don't know who the person is who gave this place a one star, they are so wrong!!! This was the first place I have ever been where I felt like our dog was treated like a patient and not a number. Dr. Joel was so kind and loving and compassionate with our pug. I never met Dr. Blum, but I am sure he was a gem. The office staff is always helpful and the price is right. Other vets try to price gouge you, this place really cares!!!
Great vet! I have taken my pets to this doctor for 5 years now. He is wonderful!! His staff is wonderful!!! Very reasonable in price! Take wonderful care of your pets! I would highly recommend this facility.
caring staff and very affordable No Dr Blum is not there anymore... but he was one of a kind.... I doubt you will ever see a Dr like him.. I have been to multiple vets over the years for various reasons.. but I still use this office as my primary care facility. The staff has not changed and they are always helpful and friendly and caring and wonderful! Great care! I too, had used Dr. Blum for nearly 20 years of pet care! Truly one of a kind - can never be replaced. But Dr. Joel has been quite good - always taking his time with each animal and doing his very best. The staff has remained consistent and helpful. The prices are more than fair and I appreciate that so much. They've helped me through getting pets healthy again and it having to let a few go too. You won't find more compassionate caring staff. Optimal Service Continues While I echo the sentiments of other reviewers regarding the loss of Dr. Blum, as he is dearly missed, I also want to acknowledge the love and commitment with which Dr. Joel Arana has cared for my animals. I have taken my dog and cat to Dr. Joel for the past 2 years and have been impressed with his level thoroughness. Each visit he takes the time to educate me, which I always appreciate...AND the staff remains AMAZING!
The best vet there is!! I have many pets and have been to many vets, there is no one better! Dr. Blume was the most wonderful vet and cared for my dogs as the were children. I was in the waiting room one day and a lady told me she has been driving from Jacksonville to see Dr. Blume because she couldn't find a vet that compared. I agree!
