The day that my sister, Janet, was transferred from the hospital to Forest Acres was a disaster. They weren’t going to let her use the rest room till she’d had an assessment the next day (she is unable to use a bedpan due to a spinal injury) and she missed her lunch at both the hospital and Forest Acres, but they wouldn’t provide any food for her (I ended up running to a grocery store for food).
