He basically cured my chil who was misdiagnosed for several years.
The only medical practice I received a refund from. I just had a check in the mail, with a statement. It was a good surprise just before Christmas. It is very unfortunate that such an excellent practice gets tarnished by those who do not want to pay their bills. I am grateful for the good care I continue to receive, and impressed by their honesty. Several of my family members have gone there and share the same experience. Thank you.
My husband went to see Dr. Tawfik today as a follow up for a rash he has now had for months. The biopsy was inconclusive and the rash is still there. The bill for one prior office visit was $1125.00 which included an office consult with the physician for $440. The insurance company paid $169 and adjusted an additional $591.51 in fees. Friendy, efficient, and accessible. Treated a cancer I did not know it existed on my back. I was concerned about a couple of growths which Dr. Tawfik advised me they were benign and no treatment was necessary. I admire his honesty.
My schedule is difficult but they accomodate my request for an appointment. The staff was organized and friendly. The doctor was thorough and pleasant. My condition was treated successfully. Since then a couple of my co-workers have had a similar experience. I strongly recommend them.
Office staff fouled up my account–didn’t credit me for payment, didn’t bill Insurance for some procedures, never sent me a correct statement; THEN sent my account to collections. Now it’s on my permanent credit record, which is spotless otherwise (FICO was 810) This fiasco took me 10 months to get corrected–i.e. find out the correct amount owed ($48.96).
