I asked for a detailed parts and service labor estimate for a replacement torque converter that was the indicated repair and only received a total amount for each portion of the repair, one for labor and one for parts...the service rep also ignored my request as well as my asking her to discuss with the dealer Service Manager the possibility of "after warranty support" from Ford Motor Co's. regional manager for a portion of this repair as the car just turned 50,000 miles, is in excellent condition and the "uncommanded slip" ... read more

UPDATE: this review was temporarily removed due to ford sales management asking me to remove it, they offered to take the car back so I could get what I told them I was looking for but they said hard to get. Since then I’ve seen many. But first tried to give me trade in price when only driven home and back, then said I’d pay more taxes. It got better when they offered me an even trade for something with more miles and lower MSRP. Can’t decide when my car will be done in the shop. Took 3 weeks just to get it in there, it was supposed to be done by the end of the week. Then it was Monday. Then it was Wednesday morning. Then it was Wednesday afternoon. Then it’s Thursday. Horrible communication. Was told Tuesday night that it was back together and just had a couple of tests then it would be done in the morning.
