Dr Ford probably doesnt even remember this. I delivered my baby in 2020 during covid. Dr Ford made me feel at fault for the stressful birth of my child. She looked me directly in the eyes and made vague threats about sending mt child to the nicu. She used her religion as well. I did not feel safe or comfortable with this woman in the room .

After having my son I noticed that his first night, while we were still in the hospital, he wasn’t eating well and was throwing up. Dr. Ford came in to see my son and I told her my concerns, she really listened and did a thorough examination. She determined he needed to be sent to NICU and he had to have surgery at 1 day old. I appreciate that she valued my mothering instincts and didn’t dismiss them. I was very upset and scared and she took time to explain things and offered comforting advice.
