I am going through a horrible harassment from ford credit and now they have posted a late payment on my history and the funny part is I paid my lease amount 1.5 months before my lease termination date. I returned the car 2 days after from the lease termination because there very own dealership told me to do so. Based on my experience, I would never purchase another Ford vehicle. I paid off my vehicle and needed a loan payoff letter. Once I'd paid off the vehicle (that had by this point accumulated numerous safety recalls) Ford made me call for months on end and gave me the run around to get proof of payoff.
Avoid if you value your time and sanity! If I had known that dealing with Ford Credit was going to be this difficult, I would have bought an entirely different vehicle from a completely different manufacturer. I like Ford vehicles, I like the company and its history BUT i do not like dealing with Ford Credit Canada. If you want to experience Dilbert level of incompetence, call the folks at FCC. They owe me money & they are are doing everything in their power to not pay me. Even when I thought it was all said and done and received a cheque two weeks ago...they put a 'stop payment' on it b/c they overpaid me by $10.
